Here are the steps to my most recent piece:

Elves!

Oh my goodness! It's been 3 months since I've posted here! Bad Holly! Bad!

I have been working on a painting that I'm going to submit to Ballistic Publishing (a publishing company that specifically prints digital art). In light of the fact that the other entries are mind-blowingly awesome, I don't think I'll get published, but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't TRY! Either way I win-- If I don't get published, I still have a great portfolio piece that I learned a lot from. :) If I do get published, then... we'll cross that bridge if we get there!

I'm proud of myself for being patient and painting detail! Still not as much detail as I should probably put in, but I'm an oil painter at heart. I'm not used to being ABLE to put in this much detail. I still like things loose and stylized.
